Dining Guide

From farm to table dinners to chicken fried streak... from barbeque to a charcuterie board... from food trucks to diner fare, it's all available here in the North Fork Valley!  Thanks to irrigation water provided by our nearby mountains, and close to a century and a half for agricultural experience, our region of Western Colorado is home to a large proportion of the food produced in the state. Lodging Guide

The scale and variety of lodging options in the North Fork Valley reflects the personality of the area perfectly.  We do not sport large, corporately-owned franchise hotels... or even small franchise motels - and you will benefit from that!  Whether your style is teepee, lodge, mom and pop motel, or historic Inn, you will find something with the personality and amenities to fulfill your requirements.  .

Physical Visitor Centers

Hotchkiss Visitor Center – The Hotchkiss Chamber of Commerce maintains an un-manned visitor center adjacent to the Hotchkiss Inn Motel at 400 Highway 133 on the east end of Hotchkiss.  Varied visitor information brochures, magazines and maps are available for pick up 24 hours at no charge.

Paonia Forest Service Office – The forest service office located in a residential area of Paonia at 403 Rio Grand Avenue, is designated as a Public Lands Information Center, and offers very useful information and maps for folks interested in enjoying the endless acres of public lands surrounding the North Fork Valley.  Information center is located in the entryway alcove, and is open 24 hours.

The Lucky Horseshoe – Downtown Crawford retailer, The Lucky Horseshoe, serves as a visitor center for the North Fork Valley.  A variety of visitor materials are available for pick up and staff can offer friendly guidance during business hours.
